elanamatic: Surprise!
Last night I pulled off a surprise for the dude's dirtieth thirtieth. It was a lot of fun! I had been so excited and holding it all in. The night before I couldn't sleep. All that plotting and waiting. It was excellent. A big thank you to everyone who made it out + esp. to Joel for being such a wonderful host and not getting made at me for the two beverages I spilled on your white couches. Damn the whitish couches freak me out.
Mer and Quincy got the dude all liquored up, not that it's a tough thing to do, he's an easy mark. He arrived late to his own party! He thought he was going to his usual poker night. He arrived smashed and bewildered. I am so pleased. Good times!
Today we are off to The Millcroft Inn for our first ever romantic getaway event. It should be a blast except for the full cold runny nose I woke up to this morning. Also my tongue seems to have swollen from all the drinking. So weird and uncomfortable.
Oh well, nothing a soak in our private hot tub can't cure. Check it out, we are staying in one of the croft units.
The inn sounded kinda uptight on the phone so I am really looking forward to breaking all their rules! YAR!
