For all you Christmas lovin' robots - My apologies, but I must indulge in this yuletide rant:
I am so sick and tired of people not understanding that I do not celebrate christmas. I am a Jew. Christ is not my saviour therefore I do NOT celebrate the frickin' holiday. In a recent physio session, my head deeply ensconsed in a cradle of tissue paper, I had the following conversation:
"So you don't celebrate Christmas at all? Not even a little bit?"
"No. Not even a little bit." I muffle back to her. "I go to parties that my friends throw of course, but no I do not celebrate Christmas."
"Oh, that's too bad. Do you ever feel like you are missing out?"
"No. I have my own holidays that I celebrate."
Fuck, I am so fed up! Also, I am tired of people thinking that Hanukah is the Jewish version of Christmas. It's not. Yes there is some gift giving. It is a festival of lights. It's at the same time of year. I agree there are some similarities but arghhhhhhhhhh.
