elanamatic: Poker Night
The dude and his buddies have a long standing Thursday night poker tradition. Until recently, this took place at Joel's condo (aka The Clubhouse.) Then Joel's brain decided to go after another degree and he had to sublet his place.
As such, poker night has been rotating across the city. We've been out of town or out partying the last few weeks so, tonight I conceded and am allowing the dude to host chez nous. Always considerate, he let me know that I could even stick around and hang out if I wanted. Hmm.. spend my night watching a bunch of gambling addicts get drunk/stoned and pig out while quoting The Simpsons and winning each other's cash? No thanks. Thursday night is my girls night out.
