elanamatic: It's A Quiet Day For Robots
Not much happening on the site today, I guess all the other robots are busy ;-) I have been really busy too. There is lots to do at work, plus we are moving offices (around the corner) tomorrow. It's now 9:30 p.m.
I got home about half an hour ago after running some errands. I'm supposed to meet the dude (and his dept from work) for a night of drinks and karaoke. I am kinda exhausteded and yearning to crawl into bed and finish my book (The Road From Coorain). It took me awhile to get into it but now that I am, I want to be done with it and move on to that ever growing pile...
The other reason I am contemplating staying home is that I have a meeting at 8:30 a.m., plus our household is in need of some tidying up and excess clutter makes me buggy. Hmmm...
But I also really want to see pony and kiff who will be there with drinks at the ready. ARgh. What to do?
Sometimes it seems as though we stay in too much, but September is always an incredibly social period with holidays, birthdays, film fests etc.. Er. Plus we have a very busy weekend planned..
If I force myself to go out, I'll be glad once I get there. (Tomorrow mornings vodka regrets will be too little too late.) Life is too short to stay home and go to sleep, right? It's tough though, after spending so much time on my own this summer, I crave way more "me time" then ever.
Ahh decisions. If only I had my magic eight ball with me!
