The move went very smoothly!
We are so loving the new place. We both agree it's the nicest bedroom either of us have ever lived in and right now it's still lacking proper furniture. The paint job came out great and we had the best sleep we've had since moving in together - aside from hotels and such. It was warm, silent and comfy.
Shortly after the movers left on Saturday, the dude's parents, joel and joce, and pony and kiff came by. We drank up some bubbly and hung up the mezuzah.
Then the dude's parents left and the rest of us headed to Peter's Chung King for some huge amounts of chinese food. I am not usually big on chinese food but I was starving and it was tasty. We are now in walking distance to Chinatown. Love that. We are also within the delivery district for Magic Oven so we had some tasty wheat-free pizza last night! YUMOLA.
Yesterday we did a ton of unpacking. We are super keeners and have already set up the entire kitchen, the bedroom and most of the office. There are a ton of stairs in the new place. We had a lot of relay sessions hauling shit up and down our three flights. I think I might end up with the best ass in the South Annex by the time we move out.
