I should actually thank those jerky bike thieves. They forced me to go out and buy a new bike. Please meet my new ride. She is sassy, supportive and sexy. It took me awhile to find her, apparently women's styled bikes don't tend to be available beyond 15inch unless you want to spend megabucks.
My final purchase was on sale, I am so pleased. Plus, with my sleek new paniers and slick new fenders, I was able to ride to work on this hot and sweaty day in a dress!
Yesterday we went on a little joy ride to visit the dude's parents. It was uphill most of the way but then we took a quick jaunt through the beltline trail, gorgeous! I remember trying this trip six or seven years ago when we started dating. I was red in the face for hours. I am clearly in better shape (go me!)
Also my new bike made it easy, she is way steadier and I can leap cracks in pavement with no worries.
