That is my favorite line from all of literature. Good old James Joyce.
It's snowing in Wisconsin and I'm happy about it. I love snow. I love that there are busses so that if it snows a lot, you don't have to crash your car. I love snow in the country because if it snows, it means that everything closes. My Mom always used to say that if you didn't have bread, milk, eggs, and toilet paper in the house it would snow for sure.
My favorite type of snow is the dry fluffy snow that looks like glitter. Actually, I love that type of snow as much as I love huge slow snowflakes. Oh, and I love that everything looks clean after it snows.
I will confess, I hate when the melted snow on the sides of the streets turns black and gum wrappers and cigarette butts are everywhere. But that's not a matter of hating snow, it's more about hating dirt. And I don't mind that melting snow in the country because it's more brown than black and sans garbage.
I was going to post about how I returned from Louisville in one piece, but I just can't get my mind off the snow!
I'm going to go look out the window now. Sincerely yours, Katie
