Art Colony: Insomnia, meet Headache (and vice-versa)

Ah, the joys of tension headaches! for i have got one. it feels like having a crumpled aluminum can for a forehead. and no, i haven't drunk anything alcoholic for a week, so it couldn't possibly be a hangover...
And Biff has insomnia! (or has had insomnia, for the past 4 days) and going by and large without sleep can lead to increased crankiness. I don't blame him for being stressed; heck, I'm going to have to take it into my own hands by calling his mom and hopefully working out some negotiations or at least figuring out what the hell is going on with her and the FAFSA form. But I'll be damned if this tension headache doesn't make it even more difficult to think about talking on the phone, let alone actually doing the talking. :sigh:
I feel bad, but I'm probably going to dose myself up with excedrin migraine to get my homework done tomorrow and even get through the weekend, so chances are that i might not even make it to Rob's party. I think that once you've felt what it's like to have a severe headache, you'd understand why I would be flaking out of the party. I mean, it's wincingly painful, and the last thing I would need would be being a total kill-joy at a party that revolves around cocktails and conversation when what i really want is to be lying down in a darkened room with an icepack on my head.
And as for Biff, Rob, I know you really wanted him to come to your party as well, but would you really want to deal with someone whose "Daytime problems caused by insomnia include the following:"
Poor concentration and focus
Difficulty with memory
Impaired motor coordination
Irritability and impaired social interaction (This one is particularly accurate)
Motor vehicle accidents because of fatigued, sleep-deprived drivers
So again, we're both wee, cute little basket cases of sleep deprivation/painful aches in the brain. Which kind of sucks, so hopefully we can get things sorted out by tomorrow or at least the weekend.
Happy Friday, y'all!
