oh sweet lord. I am sleepy. I am so tired it's like that cranky feeling which seeps into your bones and makes you irritable. Fact: I went to bed at 2 AM and got up at 7:30 AM, and this is a bad idea, especially when you were tired to begin with. Why did I go to bed so late, you may ask? Well, last night I got home from work and I was all like "Hey, you know, we should go over and check on Jill since Robin's gone & Adam probably won't be there." And Biff responded with an "Okay!"
So we walked an hour or so over to Jill's house in the cloyingly sticky-hot evening, and since we were drinking this totally shweet new kind of HANSEN energy drink (the design of the can is amazing) that comes in a massive 22.3 ounce can...when we got over there, Jill was so happy to see us, it was really nice. She misses Robin a lot; things are really quiet over there while Adam is at his dad's house, and her legs are still looking kinda iffy with that weird infection in them. She accidentally cut her left leg on the stairs or something, and...well, it's a long story, suffice to say that she is going to call her internist to tell him about the situation and Biff is over there just in case she needs to get somewhere in a hurry without driving, since driving would put pressure on her legs/feet and make them worse.
Anyways, so we all had tasty dinners and watched the movie "S.W.A.T." except I fell asleep towards the end...I was doing pretty well for the first half of the movie, though, but gradually I zonked off. I mean, I was pretty exhausted--I'd been doing statistics homework while I was at work, so all this mental double-dipping was enough to push me over the edge into sleep. But I woke up again, and one conversation topic led to another until we were up at 1:30 AM in the morning. And then I was watching this incredibly bizarre public access show called "Dr. Destructo" which was exactly like that "Goth Talk/Asriel Abyss" show on SNL, except it was real. And then we watched "Kids in the Hall" which I had never seen before, and I was enjoying it muchly. As usual, my cable-watching experience must be punctuated by intervals of the Home Shopping Network, for I find its hyperbolic puffery hilarious. "Now, these shoes...are by CHRISTIAN BIRKENSTOCK...with a latex, and uh, and a cork/suede footbed, which will...mold to the contours of your foot...this isn't an orthopedic shoe..." Funny, but not as good as the "Knife Shopping Network."
Anyways, so I got to bed at 2 AM, and woke up at 7:30, and I feel like my brain is in a cramp. I want to sleep! My statistics class ends tomorrow! :) I have no idea what I'm really doing right now so if this post is rambly it's cuz I'm soooo tired...
