Art Colony: incredible contrasts

it's been seemingly a long time since i last posted. well, thursday was so busy that i didn't even have time to breathe let alone post.
the tragedy of new orleans on CNN...i was watching it non-stop this morning & pres. bush came on and it was incredible because the guy had the same facial mannerisms/body language as an antsy four-year-old who's the ringbearer at some guy's wedding. It was incredible how distant-looking & unresponsive he seemed. In-credible.
I barely got to work in time today. I'm trying to think of what I can do to help in the relief effort...i was thinking of donating blood. I've never done it before... maybe they'll have a blood drive or something at my college. At least my college is accepting some of the displaced college students from N.O.
the most incredible contrast i have seen so far today... between MTV's My Super Sweet Sixteen and the CNN rescue footage. Dear God, the outrageous brat-tage of those girls makes me sick...contrasted with the sick and stranded. Incredible.
