Art Colony: you're trying to do too much

I think everyone has a Harry Potter character they resemble in several ways. I can deeply relate to Hagrid not only because I'm an awful cook (rock cakes) and tend towards sentimentality, but also because Biff makes me think just a leetle beet of Buckbeak and I just don't see him the way other people do.
"Now, firs' thing yeh gotta know abou' hippogriffs is, they're proud," said Hagrid. "Easily offended, hippogriffs are. Don't never insult one, 'cause it might be the last thing yeh do."
"Yeh always wait fer the hippogriff ter make the firs' move," Hagrid continued. "It's polite, see? Yeh walk toward him, and yeh bow, an' yeh wait. If he bows back, yeh're allowed ter touch him. If he doesn' bow, then get away from him sharpish, 'cause those talons hurt."
And a bit of Hermione.
"You know what, Hermione?" said Ron, looking down at the enormous Arithmancy book Hermione had been using as a pillow. "I reckon you're cracking up. You're trying to do too much." "No, I'm not!" said Hermione, brushing her hair out of her eyes and staring hopelessly aruond for her bag. "I just made a mistake, that's all! I'd better go and see Professor Flitwick and say sorry...I'll see you in Divination!"
I have so much work to do that Rider is correct: I can feel the mono coming back. I woke up this morning and my bones were aching again. The obvious answer would be to chill out and rest but the Pantene project alone prevents me from doing that. Plus with everything all tossed up in the air, landing on my head a la shit sandwich, I have to see what happens in a certain situation before proceeding in any course of action whatsoever. I haven't even had time to cash my paycheck yet. And right now I'm at work being bombarded with morons who don't know what they're looking for, or only the title, and who look at me with shock and disbelief when I ask them what the call number is. :sigh:
