DORK!
Yes folks I am outing myself as a DORK. The event officially took place yesterday afternoon when I purchased tickets to the midnight show on Tuesday the 17th for the new Lord of the Rings movie The Two Towers.
I never read the LOTR books as a child so I am just a "Johnny comes lately" dork (not to be confused with the UBER DORK). You see I am dorky enough to say LOTR (instead of writing it out) and dorky enough to get tickets a week before the release date. I am also dorky enough to read all the books (maybe for a second time) but I am not an UBER DORK because I do not dress like the characters or act out scenes with my friends. (OK I do laugh when Tina does "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" but that's it.) I am dorky enough to get the extended DVD even though I don't have a DVD player. I am made fun of by my friends (some who have not even seen the movie so don't know how great it is). In addition, the name calling ... let's see there has been dork, geek, nerd, hobbit lover, freak, etc...
I can't seem to get enough of these movies. I am eagerly awaiting the porn version "Lord of the Cock Rings". Oh and since I never go to the movies by myself I also have to out my friend Tricia (sorry Tricia). Yes I am going to say it once and say it loud "I AM A DORK AND PROUD"
