Cootie Girl: I'm a little freaked out

After September 11th, my sister joined the US National Guard in support of her country. She was away for 3 months of basic training and has since been doing her monthly weekends and the 2-week thing she has to do. I just got off the phone with her and she has been called for duty and will be deployed on Wednesday. I am a little freaked out by this.
While she was away for basic training last year, her boyfriend got inspired and joined the Army for 3 years (WTF). They married in July just before he went in. He is now somewhere in Germany and she was planning to join him there in the upcoming months. I am not sure what is going to happen now but to re-iterate I am just a little freaked out for both of them. I am proud they are helping our country but at the same time, I don't want them to be anywhere near a battlefield. This is selfish yes but I just don't care. Fuck WAR!
