I feel so bad ... I never said what happened to Godzilla and you all feared the worse. I am happy to say that Godzilla was placed in a happy home (or so I think). She was just picked up yesterday and I wrote about it that I was sad. Sorry to confuse you all but Godzilla is still happy and healthy and alive!
My mother is a lunch lady at a public school here in NYC and the custodian at her school's wife is a science teacher that has pets in her classroom. She is even getting a rabbit this month so she is the person that took Godzilla. They assured me she will not be used for experiments. Her husband and his friend picked Godzilla up yesterday at 2:13pm. I gave him everything I had and told him how to set up her tank as she already has her food spot and her poo spot. I was a little worried because she hasn't shed all her skin yet and I hope the kids don't torture her but I think she is going to a better place and she will be loved and cared for. I hope to have an update from the class in a few weeks to see how she is doing - I will keep you posted. I only asked that they call her Godzilla. (Vera - Godzilla is a leopard gecko someone left in an apartment in my building.)
Oh and I am not as strict this time around on my wagon trip. I am not planning to stop for 5 months like I did last year - I can't if I already cheated last night with 3 glasses of wine and a Bailey's coffee. I think the pressure of baby sitting hit me thank GOD Tisha will be there to help me. Wish me luck tonight!
(Jen - yes I will be off the wagon for the night out at NWP - Jan 22, 10pm if any robots are interested) (Liz - always up for knitting)
