elanamatic: Earworms
Ok, before I add this link, I must confess that earlier in the week I had the most heinous song, "Everything About You" which I believe is by one hit wonder Ugly Kid Joe, in my head for two days straight. I woke up and almost sang it aloud in the shower. It makes me crazy. "And I hate everything about you... " I loathe this song. It's on my Top Ten of most detested tracks, I think #1 is the Crash Test Dummies and "Superman." Ugh.
So anyhow, I happy to report that this experience now has a name. Some over-educated geek has coined the term earworm. I am having a love affair with the word. I am amazed that people have time & money to throw at researching this. Clearly there is hope for me in academia. Anyow, read all 'bout it for yourself, click here.
Oh, also, my friend Andrea just got married in England. Are they not the most handsome couple? Their wedding looks like a pop-up English fairytale.
