elanamatic: Concert Season
So many shows, so little time..
It's my bday this Saturday. My youngest bro is coming in but primarily because Bob Dylan is in town. I managed to score 3 tix to see him play at The Phoenix, one of my fave Toronto venues. Even though I've heard less then glowing reviews of Dylan's live show, I am starting to get excited.. How many chances will I have to see him perform at a club gig?
Next week is Nelly McKay at the El Mo. Actually a work-related show, but totally digging her upcoming release and fairly juiced up for the show.
Following week, going to check out Neko Case and The Sadies with Adina and crew. Nice.
Then in April the Quannum World Tour is hitting the Tdot. I am so excited! I've been wanting to see a number of these acts live for quite awhile. I bought tix soon as I got the mailing list msg that they were coming up here. I was hoping to see them in Cali later this summer but this works great.
There are a ton of other shows coming but I have to be selective due to cash and energy flows... Always hungry for new music though so if any of you have a must-have suggestion, speak up.
