I need a rawk n' roll rescue stat! Someone get me to a show with loud noise and cute boyz and a beat I can get into. Or at least some more tunes. I just bought the following: LCD Soundsystem (thanks kiff for the recommendation!), Bloc Party, and Bright Eyes but there are many more I yearn for. Are you listening to anything good? Let me know.
Funnyish unrelated story. I overslept and woke up in a pissy mood this morning resulting in an argument with the dude. He slammed the door behind him and left. I stepped out shortly thereafter but since we moved offices this weekend, my new route requires me to take the same streetcar as he does. Of course he was still waiting at the stop when I reached the corner. Awkward. I chewed my lip to keep from laughing nervously. We didn't speak until we both got on and stood in between the two connecting streetcar chambers and made eye contact.
We made up but it's tough. Sometimes when you duke it out you need some breather space before you can face each other. At the same time, I am glad I didn't come into work still furious. My wrath makes the hounds of hell look like puppies.
