elanamatic: My true meaning
Taking a cue from Joan, I had to find out what Elana meant according to one of my fave fun sites, the Urban Dictionary:
1. Someone who is beautiful and sexually alluring attracting everyone she meets.
"There was a firey spark in her eye that caught every males attention. She must be of an Elana"
2. a nice person.sometimes cranky.very smart.
Elana is nice. she's sometimes cranky. very smart.
3. A person of the Jewish faith.
That girl comin out of the synagogue is an elana
In my case, I think they are all true enough, but I beg you to give the thumbs up to number one, although I have a feeling I lean more to option definition number two. Number three often goes without saying.. when I self-google, I compete with an American Rabbi who makes a lot of quilts.
