elanamatic: Monotony
The tedium of November is even more apparent in contrast with the jam-packed giddiness brought by September and October. Sandwiched between the heady Back To School/Harvest season and the holidays, this November is even greyer than the view outside my window.
Get up. Workout. Shower. Go to work. Answer email. Grunt greetings to co-workers. Eat lunch. Attempt lame joke. Fiddle with Blackberry during meetings. Surf web. Answer more email. Trudge home. Make dinner. Watch recorded shows on TV. Brush teeth. Go to sleep. Wake up. Start over.
Blech. I am not even cheered by the unusually mild weather.
The good news is we are almost at the halfway point and my calendar is starting to fill up with pre-holiday festivities. In the meantime, want to get together for a drink? Lunch? Movie? Cultural outing?
