everyone keeps asking me "where are you going this summer?" and i'd like to think it's because i am so interesting and do such interesting things that they just can't WAIT to hear what i'm doing but alas, i am not going anywhere this summer. these are the places i wish i was going (you might notice that it's where everyone else is going, too):
1 - australia (my friend julie just got back from there)
2 - england (the aforementioned julie is going there tomorrow)
3 - scotland (rich and rachel are going there)
4 - africa (my friend kim's boyfriend is there)
5 - ireland (my friend suzannah is running in a marathon for leukemia there)
6 - japan (what the hell, right?)
these are most likely the places i am going this summer:
1- krispy kreme
2- target
3- goddamm *bux
4- grocery store
5- my 'rent's pool
julie bought me a boxing kangaroo pen in AU. i can't wait to get it. i forgot to ask her for some tim tams - they're supposed to be delish. i hope she brings me back loads of cadbury chocolate from england. i have an eating disorder in which i only want to know what people eat on vacation, not what they've seen.
rabbit ears update: yes, although my husband now has a job, we have not graduated to real cable. but all of a sudden pbs comes in like a champ whereas before it was just snow. so i've watched "the history detectives" which i liked very much, thank you and i also watched "the six wives of henry the VIII" which i loved loved loved. the second part is on next week. 4 more wives to go. he likes to behead them, that's for sure.
