i don't screw up all that often. but when i do i go whole-hog.
like when i made my first cake in third grade and as i ceremoniously brought it to the table, i dropped the entire thing on the floor. smoosh.
like when i worked for an embroidery company and i chose the colors for logos. i accidentally colored the logo of shirts being done for burger king the exact opposite of what they were supposed to be. for example, the buns were supposed to be yellow and the words were supposed to be red. if you reversed those colors, that's what 300 shirts got embroidered with.
if you were here at my work today you would browse through a recently printed 700 page compilation of papers i've been working on for three months. just me and very little help. you would try to look up the papers on pages 9 and 10 of the table of contents and discover that the numbers don't correspond. as you peruse the files on your computer you see that, of course, there was an OLD file and a NEW file. you sent the old file. of course. you're a little blue to begin with so when you call the printer to ask if the pages can be replaced and find out that while they can be replaced and rebound you're so pissed and frustrated that your skin actually feels like it's hovering a few inches from your skeleton.
argh.
