it's that time of year again. the big b-day. i'm 31. it's been one of those years that feels like it's been five since my last birthday. i turned 30 last year, got pregnant, had a baby and now that bug is almost four months old. i quit my job, moved three times (finally into a house that we, along with the bank, own) and tom cruise went koo koo.
my mom took ella on saturday so craig and i could have a proper birthday date. we went to see "wedding crashers" and then did some window shopping (not for windows, just that we didn't buy anything). yesterday was the family party with lots of good food, a homemade apple pie from my mom and lots of great prezzies. today i think ella is buying me some chinese food for lunch and we're going to watch an oldie but goodie movie like "bridget jones' diary" or "the goonies" - perhaps inbibe in a few virgin raspberry daquiris. party on!
