so i fell off about 8:15 on the couch during the baseball game. Occasionally woke up, a home run here or a jumbled announcer there. Then woke up for real at 3:30 in the morning. Wide awake. Not anxious or startled, just emptied of sleep. An episode of Will & Grace was on, the one where Grace is afraid to commit to Woody Harrelson because it will change the thing she has with Will but Will talks her into it anyway. Implying that friendship takes a backseat to romantic love. Of course Will doesn't mind; he has nothing emotionally at stake with Grace; he's just using her someone to do stuff with until Mr. Right comes around. I don't buy it. If I remeber correctly, the relationship with Woody only lasts a few more episodes anyway. The lesson remains: friendship is merely the waiting room for romance.
Anyway, after that i watched enough CNN to know that the Bush administration is in real hot water over this spousal endangerment as vengeance leak in the spy case. Then I watched enough Fox News to know that this story isn't even worth covering. Interesting....
