Beachcombers reunion scuttled
Is my favorite headline of the week. I thought crabs scuttled. For those of you who were spared this long-running series as part of their childhood, here is a synopsis:
The original Beachcombers series was filmed in Gibsons, B.C. and followed the adventures of lumber salvager Nick Adonidas (Bruno Gerussi) and his rival, Relic (Robert Clothier). The show ran on CBC Television for 19 years starting in 1972, and was sold to broadcasters in more than 50 countries.

Hard friggin weekend to say the least. The most self destructive I have been has involved chain smoking and riding without a helmet, tho'. A. moved his stuff out. All in all, it did not amount to much stuff. But sweetgrass ceremony is in order.

Nate: The Handsome Family is great. I already had a few of their songs on a mixed cd. But the whole album 'In the Air' is stunningly simple, sweet, and witty.
