Every day, as I bike through the park on the way to work, I weave around dozens of chinese grandparents doing tai chi. Even the old ones who can't stand for long sit on benches and shake their limbs out carefully. The key is remembering how to move at any age. Sometimes I forget I am in my body, and I know that is bad. So what I am saying is: I want to join the grandparents one morning. Do you think they would mind?
I ask you: Is there anything like riding your bike on a hot summer night down side streets, through parks, with your hair down and no helmet? Then stopping for lemon ice at the Sicilian and eating it in a treehouse. Cuz I don't know if there is anything better than that.
