I went to a B&B in Elora on Friday night. Swam in the quarry and ate Italian food. We got back and hung out with the people who run the house -- a gay couple with a huge age discrepancy (50-73) and an older Lesbian couple as well. Southern Ontario, small town, senior citizen, white, gay, B&B-running couples. Who would have thought there was a niche.
So warm. good stories about wild parties in the 60's. The older man, Lindsay, had a whole repertoire of stories about being a fashion model and a male escort in Toronto in the 50's.
He showed us pictures of himself in the Hudson's Bay catalogue. It was not photographs but drawings. Apparently the models would pose in the gear while sketchers captured their form.
