Pony: Musty
11.5.2004
Last night was tutor night, and my kid was awesome.
We were doing spelling and comprehension when we came across the word "musty".
"Oh, I know what that means," she said.
What do you think it means?
"It means when you are being bossy."
Hmmmm. Where do you get from?
"Well, it has 'Must' in it."
I laughed. I told her she was very smart to work it out that way. And then I told her what it really meant. Without being too musty about it.
