I didn't buy them that way.
I just ate indian buffet yesterday. Then kiff made shepherd's pie. (he has been cooking comfort food alot lately. I so want to marry him.)
Somewhere in the middle I went to spinning class. Cuz that burns away at least 5,000 calories, right? heh.
Ok, so i brought the leftovers to work. And without further ado, here is the recipe for the Vegetarian Shepherd's pie (I am extrapolating, cuz i didn't make it).
peel then boil some mashing potatoes.
mash them with a bit of milk and butter (or soy/rice milk and oil if you are vegan) and whip till fluffy.
set aside.
sautee onion and 2 big cloves of garlic
A bunch of mushrooms
some white wine
add two packs of yves ground "beef"
corn niblets
chopped carrot
salt and pepper
oregano, basil
mushroom gravy (use half in mixture, reserve half for topping)
lay "beef" mixture on bottom of pan (9x9). Cover with potato mixture. Grate cheese (old cheddar) on top.
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
serve with gravy on top.
