Pony: Things I did on vacation

I took a week off work, and since Kiff had too much work to go away, we decided to stay in the city. It worked out well, because it was minor disruption for Gabriel (I kept him in daycare most of the time) and I had a long, blissful week for:
Matt and Emily's wedding
Biking the Martin Goodman Trail
Biking with Kiff to the Toronto Island and going on the kiddie rides at centreville
Napping
Cooking
Staying away from the computer.
Reading
Yoga with Elana on her last day of Mat Leave
Going to the park with G and getting filthy in the sandbox
Going to the local pools, including Sunnyside and High Park.
Gabriel has been inventing songs, and I think Rihanna has been stealing them.
She started with his "Umbrella" song and now we are terrified she will steal "Oh-oh Daddy!", which is an original Gabriel composition (and one he has been known to sing in his sleep).
Rihanna, all we ask for is a little rev share when you steal our toddler's compositions, ok?
I am in trouble tonight, because I am hosting book club and I have not finished the book. Don't tell, ok? It's really good and has beautiful language and I just want to savour it a bit longer.
Finally, just when you think that your kid can't get cuter, he does. So many new words, so many new dances, so many great moments, my heart is bursting!
