Pony: Say it again
6.8.2009

When I get back from work somedays, G. plays it cool and won't hug me right away, but stays on his dad's lap, peering at me coyly.

"*I* want my little Gabriel!" I mock-whine. He loves it and jumps into my lap and gives me a hug.

This morning, G is in his footed pyjamas, and we are playing on the floor.

"Do you want your little Gabriel?"

Yes!

"Say it!"

I want my little Gabriel.

He comes a little closer and stands right in front of me.

"Say it again, Mommy!"

Sometimes as a parent you have to force yourself not to project stuff into the future or otherwise.

I did end up getting a cuddle.
