Nutshell Kingdom: Still Around
2006
Spend my days watching the light outside transform itself and don't have a lot to say, at least in paragraph form. That said, I'll just throw out a few things to let you know that I'm alive and thinking.
- Going to sleep with a stick of incense burning opens up lots of great dreaming possibilities.
- "U.S. warships are headed for the coast of Iran, just in time for a late-October war. Maybe even a nuclear war. A nuclear war started by the White House. You know, to make sure Iran doesn't develop dangerous nuclear weapons that could be brazenly used against some country or another."
"Today, the USS Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group leaves port in Norfolk for the Persian Gulf. The group includes the USS Anzio, the guided-missile destroyers USS Ramage and USS Mason and the attack sub USS Newport News."
(In case you were feeling comfortable)
- If you find a corpse and then go to get someone and bring them back so as to show them the corpse you found, said corpse will be gone. Every time.
- Rick Santorum on the Catholic priest/sexual abuse scandal of yesteryear - "When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected. While it is no excuse for this scandal, it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political, and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm."
Rick Santorum on the Congressman Foley scandal - " " - uhh, Rick? You still there buddy?
