Yesterday was my "homework club" student's birthday and he said he had no homework. Now reading is not his favourite thing to do, cuz it is a real struggle, so I suggested we draw instead. I LOVED his drawings, and thought I would share some with you.

We are drawing robots. There is a tv on in the corner of my office, and john lennon comes on. Me: Do you know who John Lennon was? My student: "Ummm...A robot?"
