Which is how I found out that my sister, Lisa, is now going to share her birthday with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes alien spawn, Suri.
Brooke Sheilds, who came under attack by Tom Cruise for using psychiatric drugs rather than vitamins to treat her post-partum depression, also gave birth to a baby girl yesterday. Irony? Coincidence? A sign from Xenu? You be the judge.
More strangeness: Both girls weighed about 7 pounds, and both are 20 inches long.
I am going to Mexico on Friday. After much research, we have been deciding to spend our time in Oaxaca state, both the city and the coast. Ibi, who has recently been to the region, steered us away from one beach (with disdain for the aged hippies who ostentatiously meditate- in the altogether - on its sands). Instead, she recommended Mazunte Beach, with its turtle conservation and simple restaurants.
