Everyone said: Why are you going somewhere hot now? The Forsythia are out already, followed by the tulips. By the time we get back, our yard will be filled with day lilies. But just to make me feel better about it, here is the weather trend for the next week, predicting a stiff fall in temperatures. Makes it all that luscious to be going away.
I leave tomorrow at 6am. Which means I get up at 4. This time tomorrow I will be in Mexico City. I can't wait.
I might not post on for a bit, but here's to hoping that I bring back some good stories and pictures.
